I approached the american outpost, nothing seemed out of the ordinary until i noticed the gate blown open, and bodies strewn everywhere, civilian and military alike.
This was not good, this wasnt a russian attack, though it was made to look like one, seeing as the flag pole was toppled, a russian federation flag draped over it like we claimed a great victory.
no, we didnt kill civilians, this was....something worse, i pulled the russian flag off the flagpole and knelt down looking for tracks, as well as offering a short prayer for the men and women killed needlessly.
"akula to base, i found the outpost, you may want to send more soldiers..."
"are there any survivors? over."
i looked around, "ill look around but dont hold your breath, send the MI-8, and get a medical team to ID the dead, notify the americans."
just then i heard something snap behind me, i whipped around, the AKS-74 raised "whos there?"
