Connor and his eldest daughter, Ciara, are reunited after nine long years. The last time he saw her, she was only twelve years old and about to set out on a dangerous cross-country journey to escape from the end of a disastrous war. Neither of them expected to see the other alive again.
When she finally returned home it was on the wings of anger. She was her father's child, full of a fiery determination to protect all those she had grown to love in her absence. He'd sent her to Oseille to live. How dare he start a war that threatened to take everything away from her once again!

She was Deirdre's, not his, because that's how things had to be if he wanted to keep his throne. But, now, nothing mattered more than his family and he would sacrifice all he had to keep his daughter safe.

She did a wonderful job with this. The emotions really are just perfect, as you say, and they both look so cute. I really love that she got Ciara's size just about right, too. A lot of people tend to draw her a bit too tall, when she's only supposed to be 4'9", and I like the small, almost girlish look she has here. Plus I really like how you can tell she's half red fox when she's standing next to Connor. Who I shouldn't neglect, either, as he really looks wonderful, too.

Yeah, most people aren't willing to go above two characters. Which is understandable, I guess. Still, one of these days I would like to try to get all three of them together in a picture. I've always thought that the very first scene of Oseille would be perfect for such a picture, too. A bit sad, sure, with Connor and Deirdre arguing and young Ciara peeking out at them, but it's a scene I've always been rather proud of.

i dont think my commission prices are too outrageous and i always negotiate with people :)
Im the only one ive seen so far with a rewards/referral program too.
i just like drawing for people so i try to keep my prices low and give intensives for free art when people purchase art from me
