BIO - Firelight
Though relatively small in stature, Firelight's strength and ability are absolutely without rival. Firelight is looked upon by those around her as a leader, a guardian, and a mother.
Though she is a white dragon, she is of a fire element. She is a creature of mercy and kindness.

I'm very proud of how the hindpaws in particular came out on this picture.
rohein was once again an invaluable help to me, giving me much needed instruction and opinions on how to shade this picture properly. I'm very happy about how this turned out overall. I'm also glad I made a last-minute switch in eye color to a darker shade. It really makes them stand out.

I use the simplest 3-layer technique, which is the setup for iScribble (where I learned it XD)
the top layer is my lineart, the middle for colors, and the bottom is the bg, or the original scanned pencil sketch :)
the middle and top have to be transparent.
then I just use a pencil tool to trace the sketch. I use a pencil because if I use a paintbrush of some sort it gets distorted and thickens :B or has white spaces around it >:C
but yeah. you can use any size pencil that way to make the lineart however thick u want and then it will stay that way because you color on a different layer that's beneath it. ^^
not sure if I explained that well, so if you're confused I'm sure it's my fault and not you haha XDD I'm very bad at trying to explain without being able to show. D: but I hope it makes SOME sense.
if you want me to elaborate or re-explain any pieces just ask and I will gladly try :D
hmm maybe I should post some pictures of screenshots in my photoshop :3 and label thems >.>
