Drifting Away

Seeing you go the emotion is gone..
Noting but to drift apart
Letting everything loose..
What we had was perfect but it didn’t last.
Feeling so empty, dead inside
This life isn’t worth what it is.
I ask for one more shot
But with a shake the answer is given
For we are only drifting away.
I stand alone in the doorway.
Only to see you walk away
My body becomes numb.
Tears streaming down my face
As you disappear forever
the love is gone.
Into the darkness my heart enters
Only to break into tiny pieces.
For them drifting away into nothingness.Wow been awhile since i wrote a poem. it's not a great one but it's a start...well i think it's decent.
