Cute-Leaper! The Tyranid Threat Has Never Been So Adorable!
So yeah, this model here is my pride and joy detailing and quality wise. The only downside is he's not in my possession. Why is that you might wonder, why would I give away the very thing I spent much of my time and energy on and just went so far to call it my pride and joy?
Easy, it was a gift to
Lynxkitty102 for her birthday. She requested it and I was more than happy to oblige. Why all the effort then? Well I wanted to show her that there was more to the model than some glue and a quick coat of paint. I believe I thoroughly impressed not only her, but everyone at the party and her family as well with my work.
On top of that not only did she get this model, but she got about 100+ photos of it during it's various steps of creation and completion, as well as a journal detailing my thoughts and what was going on while I was completing her model. She got an awesome pink 4 gig memory stick with the photos on them, as well as some other stuff with her present. I really went all out on this one. ^_^
Yes, I am open for commissions but bear in mind that the more detail you ask for, the more costly it can get. =P Don't ask what this model -would- have cost if it wasn't a gift, I've been told I shouldn't for various reasons, but let's just go with the fact that everything altogether cost a fair bit more than you'd think. ^^"
Near shameless self advertisement aside, I'm hoping you guys enjoy the photos of the model as much as I do. I really had a lot of fun working on this guy, and he'll be a fond memory for a long time. ^_^
Model itself was made by Games Workshop, I did the painting, the posing, and the flocking. (flocking is the stuff on the base that looks like rocks)

People of the internetz! if you sees this, commission him. Clearly he does awesomely detailed work =)
(psst he can also make the little plastic model things be all magnatized which is awesome so you can remove arms and not be worried that its broken)

-hugs back- welcome welcome welcome! =3 I know isn't he just adorable? ^^
I'd be happy to do a commissioned model for people, although bear in mind it's somewhat hard to deliver my product digitally until teleportation is invented. ^^"
Just a note: Magnetization takes a -lot- of work and effort and would drive prices up a bit, not saying I don't want to do it, but I'm giving everyone a fair warning about it. =P
