Nah, not really. Or sort of maybe. . . I don't know.
Anyway, these are some of the samples I've been doing lately + my character (supposed to look sort of flattened, as many of the fleshier bugs end up). The blue paper means that I don't know what the fuck it is (yet)
Also, I know they're sloppy (for anybody who is familiar with insect pinning), but these aren't for show, just for . . . reference, I guess. Anyway, speed is more important than looks ;__;

Just gonna say that I love the tags, x3 SCIENCE! Faving because.. wow. I've never seen such amusing vent art. I mean, I thought drawing my fursona as roadkill was amusing, but this? I love it.
I see on your profile that you want to work in field biology- just wanted to say that I love seeing furries that actually know about animals. Tried posting a pic of a momma wolf spider on here once and was met with butthurt comments about how I should have squished her. x__o

lol, thanks! Unfortunately, I don't know much about mammal anatomy, so my knowledge isn't really relevant XD
But yeah. It's really freaking shitty when people say ignorant things like that, I'm sorry you had to deal with it. It's really alarming how many people will support animal rights and then be fine with killing invertebrates. D:<
