Apologies for taking this long to reply, but been busy, and wow, had to get my thoughts together on this one.
Alright, first, overall, this was very good, it depicts the character as I imagined him generally, while adding neat little details- I do like what you've done with his hair- modifying his existing one while working in the traditional samurai haircut. I like that you made the scar ragged and realistic looking, while still resembling a dragon. Hmmm, when it's "Active"and flaming, I wonder if it should look more "real" then (as when that happens, it's supposed to be the celestial dragons manifesting their power through him.).
As for the poses, a nice selection- a leaping attack, drawing his blade, and challenge- also, scar detail and a face study. I love his expression here- his super-serious one that he wears when things are going down, of he's playing up his Samurai role. It matches what I imagined perfectly. He does have an other side, a much more relaxed, friendly one. Next time I commission something with him, it should probably focus on that.
As for the scar- I noticed that on the challenge pose, there's a slight divot in his shoulder where the scar is (Which makes sense, it was a terrible injury) but the scar study itself lacks such depressions- Was this just testing out different ways for it to look? Also, on the leap attack, the scar is completely missing- I'm assuming it's just an oversight, as the scar is complex enough to be damn hard to keep track of. At some point I should probably do a detailed study of the scar, it's positioning and details.
As for the outfit, you nailed the style- It's a bit plain, but that speaks to the character- unless he's doing something very traditional or professional, he prefers simple things. :)
So, overall, love it, would commission again.

First of, thanks!
As to your random inquiries, I will answer them.
The one with the missing scar is an oversight. My bad.
The rest, well, I was still experimenting with the placement of the scar to see which one works best, so I apologize for it looking uneven at points.
That should about cover it, I think. If not, let me know.
Again, pleasure doing this for you :)
