Would have to come up with a good design, after playing some Elder Scrolls Oblivion and favoring claymores to most other swords I have the jist of how long a blade would necessarily have to be.

Will just have to find and hammer out a design once I can come up with one.

I guess, though when I think 'improvised' i have an image of a long and wide bladed claymore with a foot or so worth of handle.

Oh, and also had an interesting idea for a laser pistol or a pistol that would use a blast of heat that'd cause a large amount of burn damage to a target. Just need to figure out how to make the pistol grip I have in my head.

Ah. Oh and I've apparently improved so much that that parts i'm using in refitting the Nidhogg has made it impossible for me to go past the 6 fans i've managed to get on it and the body. I fail.

The refitting of the Nidhogg isn't going to happen. The file size has gotten so large due to the complexity, atleast I think it is, of the fans and the fan housing that I can't get anymore than six into the program and I know it'll need atleast five on each side to hopefully have enough power to lift itself.

just saying I'm having to give up on refitting the Nidhogg until I can find a PC that doesn't lag out when the model reachs 15mbs.

try making a new craft, a frigate

Only frigate designs i'm thuroughly familiar with are the frigate from halo. Could possibly build something using parts of that design and steam punk it a bit. Granted it'll probably be quite large, rare that I do something small. XD

I dunno how a frieghter would look with a twin boom set up, personally the mental image doesn't seem quite that appealing but eh, I guess I could try.

Ok, just googled, the Booms are connected to the main body of the ship but not each other. Googled 'UNSC Frigate' and got several images of above, side, and otherwise views of an unnamed UNSC Frigate. I may replace the MAC with a hangar or something.

I have spotted a design flaw in the laser sword. The end of the blade is not a laser, so that means you can't stab through armor plating. This would limit it's effectiveness against armored vehicles, which is the entire point of having the laser sword. Also, wouldn't it make f=more sense for the power and ammo supplies of the hiver to come from the same clip? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about having to reload them separately. Still, these are some pretty neat weapons!

second one: the power cells have a lot of uses thanks to the size

Well, I suppose there is something to be said for versatility over ease of use.

i did the seperate units for ammo and power to address the greatly overlooked facet of gauss and rails guns needing both ammo and power cells, most of the time its just ammo like in the crysis 2 gauss or just powercells like the fallout 3/nv gauss
