Just Me And My Nakama [comm]

"A friend told me, once: Never bring a knife to a demon battle."
Burimozu Edomate proved to be an unusual challenge to pan-dimensional murderer Kadamon. This particular owl-man was no mere victim, having survived a demonic infestation which broke out and utterly destroyed his home city. The young bird commanded and switched between his roster of well-trained digital "nakama" stored within his summoning computer with the skill and nerve of a war general.
Despite having no magical/psychic abilities whatsoever, he did not go down without a long and hard fight. Perhaps Edomate's only real failure was being a mere mortal.
No, not the same guy. (But he's dead, too.)

Actually, classic Shin Megami Tensei (SNES / Super Famicom, 1992). =3
Aside from mainstays like Jack/Black Frost, in most games I usually have a tricked-out Ose and Raiju (little guy's so fidgety <3) with me till just before the endgame.
Ose's such a fan favourite, it'd be disappointing if he doesn't show up in the Persona 4 anime.
I can't sink much time into MMORPGs, but how's the Imagine story going so far? Has the Messians taken over yet?

Shin Megami Tensei doesn't age very well, unfortunately, but if you can understand Japanese (and old-school difficulty) then the Playstation / GBA ports look great.
Here's my personal new-to-series progression list:
1) Devil Survivor (NDS) OR Persona 4 (PS2)
2) Persona 3 (PS2) OR Persona 2 Innocent Sin + Eternal Punishment (PS1/PSP) OR Digital Devil Saga I + II (PS2)
3) Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne (PS2) OR Persona 1 (PS1/PSP) OR Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha I + II (PS2)
3) Shin Megami Tensei I + II (SNES/PS/GBA) , Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers (Saturn/PS1)
Good luck!

Classic SNES SMT!! Right there!!! I've recently started playing this starting with SMT Nocturne. I keep banging my head as to how I missed out on an amazing JRPG game. Then I was browsing my iPhone App store and found the classic SNES. Purchased it and my mind is blown away!! For an old game, it really keeps it's graphics and everything about perfectly intact!! And it is good! But ridiculously hard (no pun) but GOOD!!
