just your everyday sewer manhole cover.
I just loved the moss in the lettering, not to mention the leaves, and stones, and the rust. I love rust.
see, this exemplifies my taste in photogrpahy. i like looking at things from a unique perspective. and noticing things that go overlooked. because when I take that picture you really SEE the moss, enjoy how the R has it's hole filled. the grooves of the w. and appreciate the whole thing. where as hundreds, thousands of people go passed this same manhole cover, and NEVER notice, or appreciate it.
that's just it. it's there, but it's not "seen"

I really like your idea behind this image, here are just a few suggestions to make it even better^^
First of all, it's not straight. You have a lot of regular lines and shapes in this image. If everything is perfectly straight and the word "sewer" right in the center you can make these lines look even more pronouced.
Secondly, you took this shot at a slightly wonky angle. If you take it from directly above at a 90° angle that also helps to make the effect look more pronounced.
Other than that I like it. The light looks nicely soft diffused and warm!

glad you liked it, honestly, it was a passing by snap. i suppose i could do a rotate canvas crop but it's off by 1-3 degrees, and I really don't care that much. as for being off vertical...well, I don't recall the sun angle, but it might have put my shadow into the image if I tried, of course there's taking the picture upside down, and then just rotating it 180 as a way to avoid photographer shadow...but I suppose it also boils down to...I wasn't TRYING to make a studio shot, just..."hey that's cool" *snap* that's just how I roll. if that's all that differentiates me from a great photographer...then so be it. I think that just popping a tripod on, is way too much work. especially when I don't believe it will gain me anything.
