his was done for the design school Iam in using normal paint and a permanent marker (the black lines glaring that terrible >_> ) .
Ok but whats it about.Well we had to do a painting in wich a colour run to an other (colour A to colour B/colour to black/colour to white/black to white) with a person,something that flies and something imaginative
This painting is about the past and the today of my fav band Green Day.
The girl with the gun in the foreground is from Kerplunk showing the "beginnings" of Green Day (I know Kerplunk is not the beginning but we had to bring a person into the pic) and because the CD cover was mostly in green and white the colours in her run from green to white.Now we have the hand with the heartshaped handgranade and the bombs (some imaginative and something that flies) and I used the maincolours of the American Idiot CD cover there-black,red and white (AI is theire latest album...besides the new live Album Bullet in a Bible^^).So while the girl represents the past this represents today.Also the background does show this colourchage of GD (from green to red).
