Info: Asami (Which means morning beauty) Tsukinwaguma (Which means crescent bear) is a 20-year-old asian black bear from Japan. Back on Furth, she always wanted to be a sumo wrestler ever since she was a little girl. Her role model back then was a lizard, named Tokage no Kuchibiru, who was raised in Japan as an orphan. He was the greatest sumo wrestler in all of Japan.
Asami was trained in every combat style ever taught in Japan (Samurai sword skills, ninjitsu, sumo wrestling, etc), but mostly professionalizes in sumo wrestling.
However, her father didn't like the fact that Asami wanted to be a sumo wrestler because he feels she was suppose to be a morning beauty. So when she was old enough, she left Japan to go live with her friends, the Fatty Furries, in America to fulfill her life long dream in becoming the greatest sumo wrestler in the world.
Asami first met David's furry counterpart in an alley after some guys tried to take advantage of her over her body. She was sitting on a step crying feeling that she will never find a man who would love her for her personality, not for her looks.
David was crossing by when he saw her crying. He went up to Asami & asked what was wrong. She told him what was wrong and at first felt that David was gonna be like the others. But David told her that he doesn't judge a book by it's cover.
From there, they started to get to know each other, shared their interests & dislikes, and in the end, they went to go get some Japanese food together.
When Asami ended up in the real world in San Francisco, she decided to go back to Japan (not Furth's Japan) to be a sumo wrestler there. But the Japanese humans didn't like Asami very much and she was forced to return to San Francisco.
After fighting off some muggers who tried to mug her, a wrestling official (who saw what happened) was amazed of how Asami fought off those muggers and offered her to become a professional wrestler for VIF Wrestling. She accepted and was known by wrestling fans as the "Rising Bear".
