Lira is an Emerald Amanian. The High Amanian race is a lupine race who long ago mixed with the Letai wolves. The bloodline is thinner than the full Letai, but their close binding to the life essence has an unusual effect on their fur. Where it would normally be gold or blonde, it turns green.

This is a mark of power for the Amanian wolves, and to be in line for the throne, a royal family member has to have this unusual color of fur. Not all Emerald Amanians are in line for the throne, just those in the royal family, but there are those in the royal family who do NOT have green fur, and could never rise to be queen.

Lira is not interested in the throne and is more interested in a very big world with much to see! There are treasures and relics out there with her name on them. Well, they will have her name on them, when she finds them. She might well carve her name on a few unsuspecting Uruk too!

I have included two versions of her. one a little more toony than the other. They are done in prismacolor marker on bristol paper. The book is effing huge, 80 pages total. I'm over half done with it, mostly with black and white pencil sketches, but I have been working on it well over a year. Kahluax is being very patient, so I am trying to reward that. ^^
