My first page of doodles from my visit to the Smithsonian Zoo for my bday.
There were a couple przewalski's horses in a corner of their pen so, i warmed up with them.. kind of tricky since they were kinna far away ;.; but i got enough down to work with.
Below are my initial cow sketches, the hereford on the left and the holstein on the right. Lef those wateres but uncolored to show what i had to work with.
Sketches done in sepia inktense aquarelle and the above were colored in winsor newton pigmented inks and a little opaque white ink. On natural white paper.
