(Also titled: I'm flaming, but don't let that fool you)
Loooong story.
So, myself, my brother, and a neighbour are driving around the city at night trying to suppress our imense boredom by discovering shenanigans and such in the city streets. No shenanigans are to be found.
Soon, inspiration smacks my head with a force most powerful, and i am so compelled by the need to draw, that i ferverently demand we drive back home to get my sketchbook.
This gives me something to do, but leaves the boys where we were in the first place, so i agree to drive with them while drawing.
So the pencil sketch of this cat was basically done in the dark between street light flashes, with my eyes closed and, i have to admit, with the artist somewhat intoxicated. Which was essentially the sense of my brain drawing while my body was distracted.
Months later, another bought of boredom causes me to load the sketch onto the computer with the intentions of a half-A$$ed block colouring job entitled, ingeniously, PurpleCat.
Which was not satsifying.
And i'm not entirely sure what happened here, but eventually, we got fire cat.
Ahhhhh! *choir sings*
There's more to it, but really, that's the basis.
I'm really adoring drawing flames and such. Granted, these are hurried and sloppy, but really, flames-are-fun.
(Oh, and yes, it's a cat. It didn't have the fire mohawk in the sketch, or primary colouring. But it looked dull without it after putting flames on the bottom. FLAMES!)
