I haven't written the whole ref yet, but here's my development of her character so far.

I saw that the species was ambiguous, so I made her a raccoon rather than a cat (I have enough of those). I am faithful to the adoptable, though; she doesn't have a mask, and so she wears an artificial one (think like Zorro's).

The character's name is Orla Mooney, or Orry for short. She was a girl from Ireland who grew up in the Caribbean. Her life changed however, when she found a precious stone (which was, in fact, in her fur colors). The stone belonged to a tribe of Mayan raccoon treasure guards, and she became a raccoon herself as a result, with a penchant for finding treasures. It is because of these that she becomes a pirate in an upcoming character's ship... she is her lover.

Wow this is cool! ^^ I really like this, her background is very interesting as well. I'd love to see what else you do with her when you finish if you wouldn't mind of course.
