Well, I have handled him a few times before but to be honest I'm freaking terrified of him. xD It's the fangs. He's very aggressive. People always say OH CHILEAN ROSES ARE SO NICE. Well, mine isn't. He will rear up and attack at everything all the time for no reason. xD So I leave him to his devices and let him be. I almost lost him under a couch trying to handle him and I know my cat will kill him if she gets ahold of him so I don't want to take anymore chances.

I'm also afraid of hurting him because one time I was cleaning out his cage and I left my brothers to watch him run around the yard while I emptied the old bedding and I brought the tank back and slammed it down and I was too close to him and crushed one of his legs. I felt FUCKING TERRIBLE. It has since healed and regained itself but I was so scared and felt so bad. ;A; No more close calls.

Yeah, thats understandable. Im pretty uneasy about anything that moves quick, I don't care what it is. I'd be perfectly fine handling any spider if it were slow moving, its just the sudden turns of speed that I don't like.
Same with baby rats, actually. They're adorable, but give me a big fat slow boy any day!
Now a big fat, slow lap-spider who just sat there and let itself be stroked, I'd like that!

Also males will have 'tibial hooks' on their legs when reaching full mature adult.

Well the last shed was a while ago and it was pretty nice and in-tact (I made sure to chase my mother around the house with it. <:D) so hopefully this one will be nice as well!
