In some cultures it's apparently considered lucky if a bird poops on you. I still think it's bad luck though. Because it's poop, mostly.

I had a Seagull poop on me once in California. Man was I glad to be wearing a bandanna on my head. I would rather they poop on my car.

I get bird crap on me all the time now though... it comes with the job though I suppose.

I don't LIKE it, but I'd rather have Luen poop on me than a slice from one of the raptors where you are xD I really want to train Lun to fly back to his cage to take care of his business though... I've spoken to people who've managed to teach umbrella cockatoos to do so so HOPEFULLY it's just a matter of time for him haha.

I think I like birds because they liked me first. I've had wild ones land on me and they seem to like chilling with me if I'm sitting in public. Not sure why.
Your luck with them can't be as bad as my friends' though - she was chased into a river by a group of chickens that stood on the bank trying to get her when she tried to climb out. I will always find that hilarious.

Mine isn't as bad as your friend's but that is hilarious and horrible. I've been poop on by twice, and stepped in the duck poop around our house so many times, and then my cousin had a pet bird and it hated me and flew at my head and attacked me. Evil evil things.
