man those are some brave kids! Every time I go suiting any kid the size of that one in the white striped shirt run screaming! and I think I look pretty approachable!

I find it usually helps to crouch down (making myself smaller) and just let the kid approach me.
That and pretending to be a bit shy/scared usually does the trick.

Haha I do that :P it works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. I'll usually plop my butt on the ground and cover my eyes, peeking shyly then reaching for a hug. Doesn't always work xP
