I wrote the title before the scene and then the scene didn't play out to more than barely mention the dragon so perhaps I should rename this Armor dreams.
I'm very ambivalent about this story so far. I don't want to sit down and write, and then I get inspirations about the overall plan and get interested in that aspect, and then I force myself to sit down and write something, but have no Idea how these beginning scenes can be made to connect to my overall vision. I'm enjoying the planning of it and hating the writing of it, but I know if I don't keep writing I won't keep planning, so I force myself to put another vague scene in to approximate words.
I decided the bit I wrote yesterday needed to be proceeded by a dream scene, so this is my gesture at the dream scene, POV Avenger, but In the end I want to write it so that the POV is not too pointedly Avenger, I want a little ambiguity, so I tried to write third person without using any gendered labels. interesting challenge, I'm doubting I will pull it off in the end but still it's a good exercise.
IF I were to write a real novel out of this I might skip the dream scenes altogether, but for Nano they are fun to write and knowing just what happened in the dreams helps me know what they will say about the dreams later.
