So here's my Halloween costume for this year. Yeah I know Halloween's over, but damn I love this holiday.
Anyways...
This is a character of my creation for my upcoming NaNoWriMo project featuring the tale of my anti-hero/hero Xanther. This will be his arch nemesis, the Joker to his Batman, the Reaper.
The son of a mafia hitman, Tony Thorello Moretti(T.T. Moretti), came home from school at the age of 12 to find his parents and little sister, Dorthy, murdered. A hit by the mafia after his father tried to leave the mafia to raise his family. He was thrown around foster homes and orphanages but eventually fell through the cracks in the system. He was a problem child, suffering from PTSD, spiraling downward quickly. On his 18th birthday, he met with the director of child services and sat through a barrage of insults, obscenities and put downs. When the director took a small stuffed scarecrow, the last refinements of his family, a gift given to him by his mother of her favorite character from Wizard of Oz, Scarecrow. She then tore it up and destroyed it. He snapped, grabbing her, snapping her neck and gouging out her eyes with his thumbs. He then went on a rampage, slaughtering everyone in the building then disappearing into the night.
Now a Paranoid Schizophrenic suffering with PTSD and Dementia, he has taken the form of the Reaper, a twisted and vile identity as he takes his revenge on those who had anything to do with the murders of his family and those who get in the way of his vendetta. He also believes his sickle, holds the lost soul of his baby sister Dorthy and can only be set free once he has killed everyone responsible.
During one of his murderous rampages, Xanther steps in to thwart his efforts which sends the two on bitter, violent crash courses against each other. The Reaper adds another name to his long hit list, that mutt, Xanther.
