Fair. Plus, if you actually buy into hair color stereotypes and you're trying to create an army of obedient/subservient androids, steel grey is probably a better choice than red. Then again, an army of red-heads ... hmmm ...

More to the point, I was playing with the artistic side of things here (not just illustrating boobies) and experimenting with the infamous blue-orange color contrast.

I think your choice of colors was well made. The orange in the background and on the shard at the bottom gives a nice circuit-board feel, and you chose low-saturation shades of metallic blue for the hair and casings that achieve the contrast nicely without betraying the overall robotic image. The glow effect gives a feeling of 'electric life' and helps to highlight the contrast, and it helps to provide a feeling of depth/layering for the shard without use of shadows or other tactics. I appreciate the fine details of the electronic eye, the "SEL 02" subtly stamped on her outer metal casings, and the gaps in the plating that allow the range of motion capable to support the expression of wonder on her face. I think the casings could have cast a hint of shadow onto the dark grey underskin to make the casings 'pop' just a bit more, but other than that the image is well rendered.

Never mind the previous posts. Mostly, I was just trying to be silly/social and exercise my punning muscles.

I've always been rather impressed by your detailed depictions of high technology. No exception with this piece here. I'd love to see more. :)

All I can picture is those guys from Tron on their bikes crashing all over the place since they would be oogling the beautiful mare x3
