The last time I handed out candy, I made a few kids cry cause my costume was apparently too scary. I just bought a cheap-ass cloak, skull mask and big plastic knife covered in fake blood and answered the door all hunched over. Perhaps the creepy deep voice going "YOU WANT SOME CANDY?!" was too much...
