Here's Mr Goliath again. I was giving his tank a lil spot clean and he decided to go walk abouts. I didnt let him strole far though.

Yup they do indeed and its usually the bigger tarantulas that affect me.
Just cuz your a tarantula keeper dont mean your a mune to there defences.

Question about these beauties.

1.Can you pet them on the top of the head in the divot behind the eyes without them freaking out?

2. How fast do they walk?

Well this guy dosent really like to be touched, i only handle him if i have to and how fast they walk/run depends on the situation.
Ir spooked they run and look a blur

He sorta hisses and runs while kicking a few hairs. He only seems to show his fangs more when hes backed into a corner.

I just adore how Goliaths look like they are covered in velvet. Such classy spiders.
