I need to do this more.
Anyone having trouble understanding this?
As the one doing the speaking you never know when you have overdone it with the effects to the point people need subtitles.

Oh nice! I love hearing voice manipulations.
I would love it if you checked out a similar thing I did with a friend of mine. We made our voices sounds like our characters: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2205979/

Aside from how sexy the effects make this sound (), I really love the branching wording in this. The subtlety is just lovely.^^
I want to use a voice program to make my voice sound in "G Major!" :D I saw some YouTube videos that used this effect - people describe the resulting sound as "demonic sounding" (which is a perfect thing for one of my particularly implying characters... ). I have the "Cool Edit Pro" and "Audacity" programs.
Is there any specific program you would recommend for making a voice (and other sounds) sound to be in "G Major?" Or any specific settings that could produce that effect? If there is such a program (or general settings), I'd really appreciate it if you could lead me in the right direction.
If it's too much to put in one comment, I wouldn't mind a note about it.^^

G Major? why would you want your voice to sound like a diatonic scale?
Now I could imagine separating a voice into the 7 notes of G Major, but what Octave should it be in?
I imagine you would sound a lot like Gla-DOS.
I just checked out youtube for "voice in g major" .. there is a video called "How To Make A Scary Voice Effect (G Major)"
and I am not sure why the kid wrote "C Major" in the title.
He is clearly just doing 2 overlapping pitch shifts, and they are relative, so there is no defined target pitch.
I am using CoodEditPro 2, have been experimenting with my voice for quite some time.
One thing I can recommend, don't try to speak deep and then pitch-shift the hell out of it.
You are already loosing a lot of upper-midtones when trying to speak low and then loosing even more with the pitch shift.
Instead try to speak with a gnarly voice, but in your natural pitch, and then pitch-shift the hell out of that.
I also like to do overlapping pitch shifts, but I separate each layer by only shifting a certain area of the spectrum.
So for instance I try to keep the highs unchanged, shift the midtones by 25% and then the lows by 50%.
Also, thanks for the kind words, but please explain what you mean by "branching words" I don't think I understand.

I just have something in mind that sounds like "a deep, monstrous voice" or a comparatively loud voice along the same lines. I'd have to mess around with a program long enough to get the desired effects.
And by "branching words" I just meant how the words you spoke here seem interwoven.
