I think for it to be called a cliché, it has to be 1. Used in a number of places, and 2. a reference that scores of people would know.

I think he'd be a perfect candidate for Byson Eats Everyone. New guy on the block, proving himself. Or hopefully involved in one of the tournaments that may come in.
