The Ailtar, or commonly known as the “Glider”, is the dream version of an intelligent virus.

Vicious, fast spreading and with a appetite for deeply repressed memories, the Ailtar are a lot more dangerous than they seem at first glance and have been known to drag unweary sleepers into a rest they may not be able to stir from.

In some cases, an Ailtar may be able to step the bounds of dream to reality by replacing the dreamer’s conscious with their own. This practice is called “Gliding” and where they have adopted their common name.
