I decided to work on a vector series, in which I take animals with mostly negative things attached to them, and give them a positive virtue. A list of what animals/virtues I'm going to work on can be found on my tumblr.
Number 3 in the series! Vultures are some of the neatest animals around, but people tend to not like these wonderful animals because they deem them to be 'ugly'. Plus people are somewhat put off by scavengers, even though they play a irreplaceable role in the ecosystem.
But nuts to them! Did you know that that the Egyptian Vulture is one of the few birds that use tools? Most people think of ravens as a bird to do so, but Egyptian Vultures have learned to use stones to break open eggs, and even display this behavior in captivity. So thus, Vultures represent the virtue of Ingenuity, because when they want food and it's somehow out of reach, they will find a way to get to it!
Next up will be the donkey because donkeys are sweethearts!
