My 3 yr old nephew wanted to be Martian Mickey Mouse for Halloween, and since I'm wrapped around his little finger I spent about 18 hrs making this set.

Storebought: Mouse ears, white gloves, a green shirt, green pants, green crocs

Made: antennae for ears, epaulettes, stitching on backs of gloves, belt and console, ankle thingies, a long mouse tail that is not visible from this angle. I also handmade the five Pet Shapes from the episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where Martian Mickey comes to see regular Mickey and Donald scares the Pet Shapes away and they have to find them all. All the costume additions are fastened to the clothing with snaps, so they can be easily removed if not needed.

It took about 6 hrs for the actual costume, and all the rest of that time was sewing those damned shapes plushies. That kid better appreciate those! (they have eyes too, none of them are facing the camera)

My nephew is a cow because that is "his" animal, and I didn't want to put his face online without my brother's permission.
