[My friends and I are fond of an interactive game called Haunted Mansion. It's a game that uses holograms, real objects and actors to stage the makings of an incredible mystery. It could be a murder, or a haunting, or anything else solvable by a keen eye and a sharp mind. Walking room to room, investigating the place and figuring out what happened is what makes it so fun!
Every Hallowed Halls Eve, however, they change the game entirely. Instead of a few rooms, an entire multi-story building is rigged for a great big adventure! Ramping up the thrills, awe and mystery, Haunted Castle requires a lot more endurance, bravery and cunning than its smaller incarnation. My friends and I run it every year at my request, and I can't imagine going through without them. Interestingly, we seem to have one more player this year, and he says that he doesn't scare easy. We'll see!

Comic book Captain America is actually pretty awesome, and not just in ability. I forget what issue it was, or even if it was from his series, but I do recall a comic he was at least in delivering this little gem.

You wouldn't catch any other version saying something like THAT.

Ahhh, Jacent looking surprisingly badass, and an appropriate costume choice... the fact that he's there with them is a little headscratching though, as it implies this is after the threat of partners has been resolved.
Sam also manages to make that look work quite well for her, but the Catalie costume wins it all, especially considering that in this world, she's pretty much dressing up as a naked person, I'm guessing she just have that white "stomach fur" stuck to her?

Ah, but does it really imply that? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. Maybe Natalie's friends are all dead, and she's waiting in an abandoned bunker for them to find her. Perhaps it broke her, and this is a fanciful dream her mind created to cope with the crushing reality of the defeat she was too naïve to see coming.
Or maybe it's happy and they won!

I'm loving the atmosphere here. Jacent's suspicion and growing paranoia, the slyness of the portrait on the wall... I particularly admire Carrie's dawning comprehension vs. Natalie's confidence. Who knows vat zey shall be vinding..

Now this is what I pictured when I think of the non-destroyed Partners universe: an awesme future of quirky characters and wicked sweet technology. I'd be so into into something lke that, having always loved mysteries and fancied myself a detective type, even if my observational and memory skills aren't quite Shawn Spencer of Psych. The fun is in just trying.

I thought I was out, but I just happened to find one last shipment of Plotanium, the only plot hole inducing element this side of the dimentional barrier to the garden of Eden and the werewolves that dwell within it! I can sell it to you for an utterly obscene price that you will mysteriously have for reasons that will never be explained.
