This is a new pony OC of mine-but he serves a specific purpose. Being a big fan of dark and creepy, it was only a matter of time before that combined with my interest in MLP, and naturally, that was fed by Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory-and thus, he was spawned. Spectrum Sparkle or "Sparky" Is the only survivor of the Rainbow Factory-he's still just a colt (he didn't come out looking as young as I wanted him to-I wanted him to look about Pip's age) and was only taken there at all, being too young for the flight test, because his unique coloration meant that he'd be able to provide spectra for all the colors, not just one or two-and being orphaned, no one would stop them. However, since the pegasi are no longer used (using unicorns instead makes the rainbows sparklier) he was spared, and now has wound up in Ponyville since no one wants to take care of him due to the...issues...he has from having witnessed what goes on in the rainbow factory. He's terrified of rainbows, has severe memory loss (probably due to being electrocuted several times by the guards at the rainbow factory) and sometimes 'tweaks out', during which time his colors darken, his eyes turn yellow, sparks of electricity start sparking out from all over him, mostly his mane and tail (part of why he was nicknamed Sparky) and he becomes incredibly violent. His development also seems to have been affected by the electrocutions and other treatments he was subjected to while there, like his 'canine' teeth coming in more fanglike than they should be, which is most noticeable when he tweaks out and starts attacking anyone near him. He also seems to have trouble identifying his own gender sometimes, which isn't exactly helped by his fur color-yes, he's pink. Not bright, deep Pinkie Pie pink, but a softer, lighter pastel shade-but still pink.

May change a few things for his design-I'm going to be doing an "Ask Spectrum Sparkle" thing for him on Tumblr (already have the page up, but nothing really on it yet- http://askspectrumsparkle.tumblr.com/ ) where he answers questions sent to me by the viewers, and perhaps interacts with other "ask---" characters there on Tumblr, like LilMissRarity or PrinceBlueBlood or whoever. Who knows!
