Earlier today, after  train had uploaded his copy of the picture that my brother  mistypine01 had drawn for him as a commission (which is being used here for the cover pic and will later be replaced by the color version),  aelius asked him if there was a guideline to become a National Heroine, I'd remembered the list that I'd earlier created of the existing National Heroines. Before anyone asks, they are not all mine.

The main criteria to be a National Heroine is this: 1) Your home country have to have been an independent state for at least ten year; and 2) it will have to be able to afford having one (the NH is considered a member of her home country's military (reservist) and its intelligence agency(ies), as well as being considered a member of its diplomatic corps if they are even sent oversea).

For example: Britannia is an officer of the Royal Navy, a captain in the Fleet Air Arm (helicopter pilot), a member of MI5 (counter-intelligence), and, if she goes outside of Britain, she is accorded diplomatic status, thus allowing her access to the embassy and any consulate that is controlled by Britain inside the host country that she is visiting. Lastly, a National Heroine is accorded arresting power by their home government, which is recognized by other governments

Outside of Turkey and Egypt, there are no National Heroines in Moslem countries. (I don't think I need to explain why.)
