Inspired by  urbancowgirls depiction of a young cartoon Charles Darwin. I've been reading trough a lot of Charles Darwin as research for my NaNoWriMo-story, espescially The voyage of the Beagle, the get the feel of a Victorian travelouge narrative, and I'm pretty much saving quotes like crazy into my "Magna Carta" (a list of things you like to use as inspiration for novel writing, a common NaNoWriMo trick for when inspiration runs low). And so far, this is one of my favorite quotes, Darwin was a man ahead of his time, an excellent early science writer and a great naturalist, it's pretty much impossible to be an aspiring biology student without admiring him at least a little bit.
