Normally, when a devil offers someone a deal, both alternatives are akin to trying to defuse a live bomb, blindfolded. The brutally traumatized Shaun Jones, however, must decide if the story being spun by Kali, the Black Cat of Ill Omen, is a ploy to steal his soul, or a lifeline, being offered by someone who knows the darkness of the human heart, all to intimately.
The conclusion of my story for NeonDragon's Halloween contest, over on DA, and the debut of a character
Uniprae and I have been working on for a while, we just never managed to finish a story about him until now. I had to change one of the Leopard Girls' names to something less suggestive because the contest had a PG-13 limit, but otherwise, everything's pretty much correct.

Thanks Aresues, I was hoping to hear from you on this story, because I like your comments. Normally, Kali totally deserves his reputation; he isn't called Karma's Dark Emissary, and the Black Cat of Ill Omen for nothing. Usually if Kali crosses your path, you're so screwed that even Handy Many couldn't get you out of it. And his bargains do indeed come with a heavy price. Yet even he isn't pure evil, he has his soft spots. His annual Halloween party being one of them.
