This powered armor is made to fit a furry.
In my personal Scifi universe, It's common to use furries in powered armor instead of humans. This is because the furries are all roughly genetically identical, and are all therefore of nearly identical size. Also: because nobody cares if they die. They are sentient, sapient, self-aware ambulatory manufactured goods.
Also: I ran out of ink halfway through.

SAy, you seem to like Military Sci-fi, so do I. Maybe we can share some ideas and toughts?
Say, who is your main inpseration for your Power Armors? Masamune Shirow I assume? Best Mecha artist I know.
Anyway, this is a very intrestingt picture, the weapon arm is extremly pratical and faisbale. But iz all dpeneds for what missions these power armors have been build.

Sure, share away.
My stuff is inspired mostly by Kow Yokoyama. I'm more into powered armor than mecha. I likes me some tanks, when we get to the large scale. I'll have to post some drawings of those too.
I never thought that a weapons arm was very practical. It would be a bit cheaper, in that the manufacturer wouldn't have to spring to buy all the actuators for a whole pair of hands, and it would make life a bit easier for the targeting computer. On the downside, it wouldn't have anywhere near the range of motion a handheld gun would, especially on armor as chunky as I draw.
I suppose these armors would be made for housing field officers. In my scifi, any living soldier (human or organic AI) is automatically of officer rank, because the basic infantry is all robotic (not necessarily humanoid though).
They are to support the tanks, or for exploiting breaks in an enemy's lines. They are no match for larger AFVs - in my universe, most medium to large AFVs carry rapid firing computer controlled weapons easily capable of mowing down even the best armored infantrymen.

Ok, I see. Well, be prepared to be added to my messenger list, makes things easier. I´m also working on a project, well, I was working on a sci-fi project but its frozen now, need to write all the detials down first and so on.
It sucks wehn you have tons of ideas, but cant draw worth a danm.
