This past week has been dreadful. Here's the deal: I've never had the chance to read a Harry Potter book without knowing what happens beforehand. I didn't get into actually reading the books until after I had seen the third movie, so I already knew what was going to happen in those. Somewhere along the way, something slipped from the other three in the series, so most of what happened wasn't a surprise when I read it. It was still entertaining, but lacking the shock value.
Enter book 7. I was so excited to finally get to read a Harry Potter book spoiler-free, especially the last one in the series. The final chapter! But lo! The internet meanders along, threatening my sanity! Reports of spoilers run rampant! Leaked books and photographed pages flood onto the scene, making me hide for cover to avoid seeing anything that might threaten my my one shot at enjoyment. I even lashed out at friends.
But now the book is in my hands, and all is well. As for the comic itself, I really like the way this one turned out. I tried some new stuff. In the past couple comics, I started using thicker lines, and upon comparing that linework to earlier linework, I didn't like it as much, so I reverted to thinner inking. Problem is, it takes longer to do. I'll get faster, I hope.
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go read.

"Hay guys let's read all 700 pages of the book in a day just so we can post teh whole freaking plot on every possible niche in the entire internet."
Hilarity. -_- As little as I care about Harry Potter (I don't hate it, I just don't have any interest in it.) I can empathise with this sort of thing. I hate spoilers like nothing else.

I usually don't mind spoilers - maybe because my chances of getting my hands on a book, or seeing a film anytime soon, or seeing a show everyone's talking about... are varying from null to very slim. That's why I don't mind spoilers.

Has someone verified if those leaks are real? *angelic innocent face*

At least you were able to get it when it came out. Did you ever have that thing that you want but you don't have enough money to get and a jerk comes over and start to talk about how good it is and you tell them not to tell you about it but they do the next day. I hate that, and you have to wait and if other people that you don't know talk about it you may eavesdrop a spoiler by accident. OH NO!
i remember that last week. It wasn't the pre spoilers i was worried about-it was those who finished the book before me i was freaking out about. My younger brother skipped all the chapters in the 6th book to read where dumbldore died and then proceeded to blab it to me before i got there. Needless to say i was not happy-so come the 7th book i avoided him like the plague.
