This song is very interesting, since it is basically an english version of a swedish folk-rock song by Nordman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqE8Um9t8CU) that used to be massively popular, and pretty much still is, just about any swede could sng along with the chorus.
Nordman is one of my favorite bands of all time, as is Blackmore's Night, and never in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine that the two would be combined, but it was, and the result is about as awesome as you'd expect. I like Nordmans version best, becase that is the original and the version I grew up with.

She' going to visit Tundra, I imagine, she sometimes stay for long periods of time in the mountains living in a kåta (a tepee, pretty much, and yes, actually, I based it very loosely on this photograph: http://www.vk.se/uploaded/image/201.....-159135606.jpg
and that's not even as good as the northen swedish mountain region gets, it is incredibly beutiful all year around.
