In science fiction and fantasy, warrior races tend to be portrayed as large and predatory, but when you have technology on your side, you don't need to be big and scary to get the job done. Done for the cover of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine #21

You know? This is one of my favorite images you've created. I even had a notion of building a 1/6 scale model of the battle armor just because I like the contrast between "Cute and Fuzzy" over the beat up armor and weapon. Had you ever read "Quxizol" by Larry Niven? (And you can correct me if I'm wrong.) Actually, I couldn't help but think this is more like the Star Trek episode, "The Corbanite Maneuver." I imagine these creatures might just have a bit of an inferiority complex, and would like to appear as big and as scary as possible.
