Ooooh, I love this painting :) Love his eyes and the detail in his fur.

Critique? I think the perspective or the proportions on the face looks a little off. The eyes seem a little too close together, and maybe the muzzle a little too thin by the eyes. The nose looks a little too flat or sharp on the edges to me.

But I feel like I'm nitpicking, just looking for things that seem out of place, as I *do* like it as a whole. I think it's pretty good. :) (More than good enough to favorite, for sure.)

It is nice to look at. I like the fur and the work on it, like the darker streaks near the eyes, and the other color changes.
I also like the eyes.. and some of the details I noticed, like the shine on them, and the shininess on the black part around the eyes.

This is the style of painting I've been wanting to get into but fur is always throwing me off. How did you get that texture?

Many very tedious brushstrokes =P I used a fine long brush so the strokes could be long and smooth
