Back in the 90's when I started digital artwork, I drew on a small resolution of 320x200, which didn't seem that small at the time, and later some 640x480 pictures. I have alot of these small res pictures, and one was of Sonic on some "roads" I loaded it into Illustrator and enlarged it, and painstakingly drew over the pixeled lines, making adjustments, such as his nose, which wasn't bulby in the original. I wanted it still to look a bit like it was in the original, but clearer and fresher...and update the roads. The light green was actually blue, and the background was a mix of red and orange.
