there's actually a kinda funny story about that.
the similarity is entirely coincidental and based off of a design from my childhood which was moreorless a Hind/Harrier composition. when I'd started drawing it again, my partner bought me a Valkyrie model because of the similarities[and because I think he wanted me to get into 40k xD]. which is really why I added the Valkyrie's wing markings to the design; as a nod in its direction. because, well. they do look similar.
and now I love 40k. <3
