I love doing these things. I really should have put them as a regularly available commission option, but I didn't because they are so heavily inspired by the LIMBO videogame, and I wanted to keep more of my own style in my gallery. STILL, I'm considering doing a few more here and there when I've got the time, just for fun.

Try working with silhouettes, man. Not only do they look cool, but they are also fantastic practice for designing distinctive characters and well-balanced poses. Somehow it seems like a good character will always be easily recognized in silhouette.

I'm rarely only about the 'design' of a game, but that's a complete different story for Limbo. Kind of had to play the Demo only because of the screenshots I saw and it really has a great atmosphere.

Yeeeesss, same here. Of course, once I had played the demo I couldn't help but buy the game. Just the demo alone was creepy. That is one of those games that really is all about the style and the timing. The puzzles were great too, though. Some of them were really tricky towards the end of the game.

I usually do them for $10-15 per character depending on complexity. c: I'm not sure how many(if any) I'll be able to take in the near future though, since I'm trying slowly to catch up on all the paid unfinished large commissions that I took around September.

I'll probably take them spontaneously. I've been heavily considering(due to personal stuff) only taking small commissions after this queue is done, so it's quite possible that I would do more of these in that case. Once this queue is all completed, then yeah for a few months, unfortunately. :C I've only got 3 more months now until the baby comes, and I don't want to take any large commissions in case I end up not being able to finish within a resonable amount of time. Small commissions I'll likely still take up until 2 weeks prior to the due date. After the baby comes, I'm really not sure what to expect. Let's hope for a good baby so I can work more! Haha

ok, I'll wait for you! OH MY GOSH! I didn't realize you were that far along! of course you should only take small commishes! Take a break after you've had the baby to relax and recharge and get used to having a kid. Good luck with everything. :) I'll be rooting for everything to go smoothly!

Ahaha thanks! No kidding, eh? A few days ago I was at an OB appointment, and I was like "Oh my god, I only have 3 months left. ...WHERE DID THE LAST 6 MONTHS GO?" Now I'm gonna try to cram as much stuff as possible into what little time I have left before I pop. There's so much to do~
