Yes, I learned how to wrangle alligators today -- this lil' guy, who lives out at John Bunker Sands Wetlands Center. He and his companion are education animals -- perhaps a little over 2 feet in length and five pounds or so (estimate.) Very lithe and muscled.

When I stroked his head, he lifted it (like a cat does when you skritch its chin) and closed his eyes -- it was SO cute! I'll be handling him on a "several times a month" basis in the future.
