Nearly every Amtrak paint scheme is represented here by this diverse group of passenger power sitting at Amtrak's Chicago Locomotive Maintenance Facility.
From left to right, Amtrak's Phase III Heritage unit, P40DC #822, a P42DC, several NPCUs (non-powered control units, former F40PHs) in Phase V and III, Phase IV Heritage unit #184, and finall P32-8BWH #518, which still has bits of its original "Pepsi can" paint, plus a special "Hiawatha" logo. The Union Pacific unit is here after leading a detouring California Zephyr over UP trackage in Illinois and Iowa.

Phase III is still my fave
Also caught 184 on the Crescent this summer coming from Train Day in New Orleans as the second unit. It's kinda funny seeing as how it's painted phase IV and it's fit in so well with all the current rolling stock, almost like it never really left.
