Throughout the day today I've been constantly reminded of how 'vulnerable' I am mentally. I try to let people in, because I long for that personal closeness and understanding you get from sharing your experiences, memories, and feelings (even if they aren't ones you're proud of) with another person.

Sometimes people don't open up, and I'm left there, with all my heart poured out, when they've still got their walls up. Sometimes I get taken advantage of.
