I would trade a lot to be able to say "spiders are adorable" and be able to go near them without a blunt object.

Think of it this way: if there was no such thing as spiders, we would literally be up to our knees in bugs. Do you really want centipedes, earwigs, and flies crawling all over your legs? No? Then put the shoe down. :3

I usually don't consider any long run effects.

I have this habit of getting attached to insects around my house as pets and then they die and it's horrible.

She runs away when ever I try to hold her. One time she even tried to bite me. :(

I do the same thing. I name all the spiders that live in my room, and there's usually at least 2 in the summer, and in return for the housing they eat all the mosquitoes that sneak in. :) And if I find any spiders around the house I have to let them outside or take them to my room because my sister will crush them...

Spiders are fascinating creatures with many positive traits, I'd just like them to do their spider stuff outside...away from me.

Well, at least they keep the insect population under control! :D

Which is all fine and well, but regardless when I'm sitting on the edge of my bed and one decides it would be cute to dangle down from the light fixture a foot in front of my face it's still gonna' get squished without mercy.

Poor spidey; it just wants to say hello! Or bite your nose, either way they're cute.
