Thought of a series a while back involving Mechs and various planets. Humans in this galaxy were rather savage and huge in size (though his partner here is the smallest in size so it is rather extreme here).

Human is the savage fighter with wood and bone equipment. His buddy is a race where their world is very super hero like. He specifically is like Punisher but with a ray gun.
