Randy is a charcter I made for a school project, an animation made with the marionnette tool in After Effect (The ones knowing the program know it's not made for that).
I choose the old style of inkblot toons since it was easier to animate. He already changed as the originale didn't had the gloves and shorts. I never finished it tho. It took me forever just to do the intro and the walking scene. I might finish it some day.

While Oswald was about as well known as Homer Simpson is today, that was about 80 years ago, and most people have never seen or heard of Oswald unless they are interested in the history of animation. I wouldn't worry about it.
Disney can hardly sue! In fact, Walt Disney lost control of the character to the distributor. The contract gave some business sharpie the rights to the character even though Walt was the creator. The distributor hired another studio to make more Oswald cartoons, and Disney went on to create Mickey. Mickey eclipsed Oswald completely. Before very long, the distributor stopped making cartoons and the character was dead.
Coincidentally, another Oswald the Rabbit was created by the Walter Lantz studios in the 1940s, I think. But he looked nothing like the original.

Actually, it's the same Oswald. Over the time and artistic directors, Oswald went through a lot of change. And recently, Disney got back the full liscence of Oswald and of the cartoons made by Walt Disney. I'm happy for them, really, but now, yes they could sue.
But, seriously, any bunny made with the inkblot style would look like Oswald.
