I prefer the sketch, but my drawings are always skechy~
The lines (esp. the top/shoulder straps) are of various thickness, so the style looks too 'I haven't figured it out yet' in terms of the confidence I feel of the artist. I may be totally wrong, but that's what I see~ I feel more style/confidence in the sketch.

welp, just look at 'em side by side. The sketch has shading, under the breasts and along the calves, for instance. That adds depth and makes it seem more real. You drew eyelids on the sketch, which amke her expression seem more nuanced and complete, giving her an ironic, snarky tone as opposed to what appears to be one-dimensional naivete on the inks. The shading and additional detail on the shorts/bra do simply that, add more detail.
Look at a person in real life, they do not have a definiute outline The softness of skin and hair make them blur, ever so slightly, into their surroundings. The pencil sketch seems to me to capture that feeling of softness where the ink looks like a cartoon. Strictly segregated from the world. Especially with a big squishy cuddly carachter, softness is important.
Once again, I';ve had like 10 ounces of gin so far, so if this makes no sense... Blame Bombay Sapphire. >_>

Well, I like both the sketched and inked versions for multiple reasons. =3
The sketched version feels like it has more character to it, like you actually put alot of thought and effort into it. The inked version however, feels cleaner and more comprehensible (i.e. you get a clearer idea of what's what and what goes where). So I guess it just really depends on what you think would be better; either a drawing with character or a drawing that can be easily read and understood.
I hope that helps.

Well, maybe thinner lines and more shading would work? Perhaps even making the overall piece a bit more messy? I'm actually not all that sure. ^_^;
With the inked piece, it looks very clean; which to some, might be considered sterile. So my guess would be to not make it as clean when you ink it.
Leave a smudge or two and see what happens. You might just be surprised. =3

This is pretty nice. the text is kind of hard to read, though, since it's so small. Also, where the lines of her shorts end seems a bit sharp; try inking by using only outward curves, our anatomy teacher recommended that and it's helped me tremendously. Even things that curve inward are made up of two shallow outward curves in a sort of "V' shape
