In before Blizz makes all female pandaren 100lbs with only short hair. XD Honestly I don't mind playing skinny mini girls, but I feel bad for some of these girls when it comes to the more carnal aspect of WoW. I mean think about it, all characters have to come from somewhere and if they did have mommies and daddies, I'd feel sorry for some of these women. Think about this. Have you looked at the difference between a male and female draenei recently? I'm all for muscles, but these dudes would snap the females like a twig, TWIG I TELL YOU! XD
I hope that they stay a little chubby sorta like the Tauren Females, because really, sometimes when you start with a nice fluffy creature you need to keep the fluffiness. Both fur and fat included in the "fluffy" term!
Anyways... randomness about general expansion news:
Many of you may not play WoW, and that's fine I won't make ya lol. But the fact that this race is becoming playable is quite interesting to me. I'm always interested in the back story for characters. The fact that this is the first race that is playable by BOTH Horde AND Alliance factions, is just insanely awesome. Think of the backstories here! Your character comes from a small town, grows up with their best friend, when the time comes that they set off on their journies, your character becomes devastated to find out that your best friend has joined the opposite faction, and you are now to become mortal enemies. *drools* OMG the backstories will be EPIC I tell you!
And as amazing as a new race and new continent is I am insanely excited about the new player class: MONK. Boo-yah! XD
I played Everquest for years, long before I ever played WoW. one of the classes I was really starting to enjoy(before my computer couldn't handle EQ's graphics any more) was the monk class. I liked the Iksar monks a lot, but started to really enjoy them when the Drakkin came out, which shortly after my computer decided it didn't want to handle the graphics any more.
When I switched to WoW because I needed my MMORPG fix, I was rather bummed to see there wasn't really something that was equal to the monk in the WoW universe since it was the one class I was really starting to enjoy. Even if the WoW monk class is only HALF of what the EQ class was, I AM ONE HAPPY KINKAJOU DAMMIT! XD

Actually they've stated so far that they will have their own starting area, will start at lvl 1 and will play through the starting area until they are lvl 10 and then pick which faction they belong to. And since all other races but Worgen and Goblins right now can be monks, I doubt it'd be a hero class.
i for one love the fact that pandaren will be in the game, and it baffles me that all these people are saying they won't play and that wow is dead and stuff when all they're doing pretty much is releasing a new race and class and changing talents

I will be returning to WoW if the female pandaren are big girls. If they end up being skinny, i call boycott. Otherwise, I am SO fucking excited. I fucking love pandaren. I love how you can choose your faction with them.

I'm still a bit wary of how the Monk currently lacks an auto-attack and will supposedly be more "twitch buttonmash" in playstyle, though - it'll mean folks with slow machines or recurring lag problems might be effectively cut off from an entire class.
And, of course, if the Pandaren females aren't suitably chubblefluff to match the men, that'd be a dealbreaker too. Don't need more ugly women in animal masks like Worgen.

I don't think it will be that bad, considering I play on a 10 year old computer I'm used to lag lemme tell you lol. I think what might be better is setting up combo macro buttons instead, and using those to help aid in play. ^^

I watched the video and have no idea what all the hate is about. Sure, some may say Cataclysm wasnt as good as lich king but that doesnt mean it sucked completely. WOTLC was tough to beat, it was an amazing expansion. That doesnt mean this new expansion is gonna suck. The hate is just so unnessicary :/
The problem really is that they peaked with Burning Crusade. Wrath was worse than BC, Cata worse than Wrath and now they're changing so much, people don't have a lot of faith in the success of Mists. I mean, more power to them, they're definitely allowed to add to/change their lore and game as much as they want, but they can't be surprised when people feel betrayed by it. The game has stayed essentially the same since vanilla and they're making quite a few large changes all at once.
According to what I've seen, the players who are the most miffed about the changes are players who've been there since beta/early vanilla. Most of the people who started playing in Wrath or Cata have no problems.
Of course, that's merely an observation and there are obviously going to be exceptions. ^^ Just trying to explain the other side a little better.

I wouldnt really know, I started playing during late vanilla, actually a few weeks before BC came out. I didnt really get into it until about a month before Wrath, not really playing that much to begin with. Wrath was the first expansion where I hit max level. It was probably just because I played A LOT during wrath and not very much during BC or Vanilla, but I can see where you are coming from. I did think that their changes, specifically the large nerfs to classes, was a bad idea.

If you look at the screen caps from the next expansion, they show a lot of influence from China, Thailand and other countries in the same area. Considering that, Pandas are a good choice to me. ^^ After all Everquest has the Vah Shir which are a cat anthro race, so trying to do cat anthros in WoW might be getting too close to the Vah Shir.
